About the Author

JACKIE SHERMAN has worked as a university careers adviser, run her own CV design business, tutored adults in the community, organised job-search workshops for the unemployed, run workshops for Women Returners, and written books and worked as a volunteer for Age Concern. She therefore has a wealth of experience in the fields of careers and job hunting and is particularly aware of the difficulties faced by older job applicants.
